The Facilitating Appropriate Development draft SPD sets out the Council’s suggested proposed approach to facilitating appropriate development on greenfield sites, and gives a set of criteria which accord with current national and local planning policies that will enable stakeholders to determine if sites may be considered suitable for development. It does not identify specific sites.
Consultation on this document will run from the 16 January 2009 to 4.20pm on the 27 February 2009. The comments received in this period will influence the final version of the SPD which is expected to be adopted by the Council in the spring of 2009.
